- A high performance, transportable, wheel of a quality exceeding wheels
twice the price. The speed is
controlled by a smooth action, adjustable instep pedal which is impressively sensitive at
low speeds. Power is
automatically switched to the motor when the foot pedal is activated.
When switched off the transmission is disengaged allowing the
wheelhead to be used as a whirler. A
feature of special note is the integral upholstered seat which is
adjustable to the required height. The
strong glass-reinforced resin tray can accommodate wheel batts up to 370mm
(14") diameter.

- The Merlin Wanderer shares the same special qualities as the Minerva but
with additional features making it a very sophisticated wheel.
The additional features include a generous 330mm (13")
diameter wheelhead supported by a larger shaft and bigger bearings. The wheel tray is larger than the Minerva and can accommodate
batts of up to 280mm (15") diameter.
The seat has a horizontal as well as vertical adjustments.
A notable difference is the cable foot control that is fitted as
standard on this wheel. The control pedal is joined to the wheel by a flexible cable
enabling the user to place it in the most comfortable position on either
side of the wheel.

Lotus
Wheelhead System
An alternative to
a standard wheelhead that allows you to easily remove pots on their batts
without complicated and time consuming fittings.
It is ideal for rapid production especially
of large or thinly thrown pieces that might otherwise be damaged by handling.
The long established Lotus batt system is available for all makes of
wheel, please specify your wheel make and model when ordering.
Waterproof plywood discs of 9mm thick ply are contained by the rim of the
Lotus wheelhead so that the outer edge is level and shielded by the smooth
aluminium. The disc is kept firmly in place by a notch in its edge which
engages with a metal pin set in the rim. The
discs and pot are released by upward pressure through the apertures in the
wheelhead. Includes one batt.

We can supply your wheel with this device ready wired to the flex as an
integral part of the mains plug. This
gives protection in the event of any damage to the mains flex and cannot be
removed or stolen. Also
incorporated is a reset feature which ensures that after a break in power, it
must be reset before starting the wheel or machine, preventing accidental start
up.
